ID Help Please

This was in my pocket after a journey but I cannot remember where it came from, it also does not seem to match any of the other pocket change.

It seems to be made from aluminium ((?) its too light for copper-nickel), and about 24 mm in diameter.

My first thought was Russian, but it does not match any of the 5 roubles or 5 kopeks.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in Advance.

  • Looks like a Ukrainian 5 kopiyok. KM#7 was steel, but my image 30th Ed. doesn't list any after 1996. Perhaps it's an aluminum version?

Definitely Ukraine, a 5 Kopiyok (or however they're transliterating Ukrainian today).
