1969 Topps Football Submission Advice Sought

I collect mainly 1960's football.
I have a real nice first series run of the 1969 Topps Football issue.
I think there is approx. 132 cards in the run.
Of those cards I estimate that approx. 95 of these cards have a very good chance at grading out
PSA 8 or above.
My question is this.........is it worth it on this issue to throw 500.00 to 600.00 to have this lot graded??
I collected this isuue, not these particular cards as a kid and always thought they were stunning visually.
I always wished that the complete set was done the way the first series was, with the bright colors and borderless.
Any thoughts or comments are most appreciated.
Thanks!

If you pull 8's, it's definitely worth it. The first series sells pretty well.

Just checking on eBay, the 1st series commons in 8 look to be going for 15 to 25 dollars,
while the 2nd series commons in 8 look to be going for 30 to 50 dollars, depending on population.
So if you're interested in putting together a graded set, it looks like it's cheaper to submit them than buy them.

For football, 1969 is the first year I know of that there was a lot of high quality vending material available,
so it's also the first set since the 1955 set where over 10 thousand cards have been graded.

Seems almost like a case where supply has created demand.
There are eleven sets on the registry at over 25 %, which is a lot for relatively modern football issue.
