    I don't know if you're from the US or not, but you latched onto an interesting jeton that has an early US colonial connection -- this particular jeton was found at the Jamestown, VA colonial site! I have a small booklet on the Jamestown excavations in the 1990's put out by the APVA and it mentions that particular jeton!

    I lived in Virginia Beach for Years and am quite familiar with Jamestown... Think I'll grab for it.image

    There was a number of jetons found at the Jamestown site, from what I have read in Ivor Noel Hume's books.
