Just got my first Ticket back from PSA

It'll probably be the only ticket I ever send in. It's the ticket from Brian Propp's 1000th point game which he autographed to me. Oddly enough after all those years with the Flyers he actually scored his 1000th point in Philadelphia as a Whaler.

Cool item for a Philly homer like me.

Man, that's great. I used to go to many of Whaler game at the Hartford Civic Center when I was growing up in CT. I wish all would have kept all my Whalers and Frank Zappa tickets.

Back in the mid and late 80's I used to tend bar (while working my way through college) at probably the best night club in the South Jersey - Philly area. I used to hang out with Tocchett, Zezel, Propp, Dave Borwn and the boys every Thursday night after their home games. They'd come by the night club then we'd hit a night club or trash one of their houses. We also played a lot of golf!!!

grillo, the hartford civic center is now going to be a high rise condo unit. i guess they have to decided to build it on top of it. keeping the the ice/court area still to be used. hopefully we can get a team back?what town did you grow up in?

Even though I'm not much into hockey I do miss the sporting spirit of Hartford when we had a major sports team.

We probably could have had 2 superbowls around here after the Whalers left but that's our soon to be impeached governor hard at work for the people.
