OT: Anyone good with computers please look i need help

ok my old sound card died on me so today i go and get a new one its called a Mad Dog something. well i put it in and do just like it says on the card and when i go to install it nothing happens. It tells me "Can not find a windows 98 path. please choose one again" I cant find what they need.

yes. i think my sound drive is dead but i dont know how to fix it

mine did that, and i had to reinstall Windows. you might try upgrading your operating system to something more current, just avoid Windows ME like the plague
