65FB Gray Sheet....$3650 and BS......$2650 and the BS stood for Blue Sheet but the price is BS in my opinion..image

    Tony:

From the current Grey Sheet -- 1925-S MS65FB is still $3300 Bid and $3650 Ask.

Sorry, but I don't have anything close to a current Blue Sheet.
    When in doubt, don't.

    Tony:

Grey Sheet only goes as high as MS65 and MS65FB.
    When in doubt, don't.

$1675 on the 66NB.....and Good Luck with that price also.

Sorry....I read the post wrong the first time. image Old age and the Weather here in the "Big O" caused this.

Thanks, Ken, I was looking at the two coins on e-bay. I guess their price is way high, so thanks for the info. There is too much premium for me on that pair. Both coins look great.

Tony that 66NB coin has the "Look" that has shown up often lately. I'm betting the coin has been conserved and frankly it looks ugly. Way toooooooooooo white for the date of the coin.

The second coin the link did not work. Is it from Hamrick also ? Price wise they, Hamrick, are always stiff with their Ebay prices.

Yes, they are both from the same seller. And they look about the same. I thought they might be out of the same roll or something.

Hammrick always has the coins, but you pay for them!

    segoja,

Ya the coins look good, but to pay above and beyond what the coins are worth isn't an option for me. I'm sure something will come along at fair market value.

I also was checking out the 66 coin in NB. It seems way too expensive to me, so I will pass. I also agree with Ken, the coin has a certain look that says to me I should be toned after all these years, at least a little. Anyway, I would have been interested at 1500 but NOT at the asking price.

BTW, thanks for the prices Ken, I was going to ask that question when I first saw the coin as my guess was that it was priced very high for what it is.

I would guess Ken's price was bluesheet for
a 66nb dime, if so then his price is not to far
out of line if the coin looks decent in hand, he scans
his coins so they appear more washed out than they really
are. but the best gauge would be to check some past auction
prices and see if any have sold recently in that grade

I go along with Tim on the washed out look but it still looks tooooooo white to me. My 27D came from this dealer and I am pleased with the coin for what it is grade wise. If it only had a little color.

Yes the price was Blue Sheet which is mis-leading but all we have except checking auction prices as Tim suggested.

I checked the heritage auctions, and the last 66nb 25-s sold in 99
at around $2200, but none have been in auction since that time.
He may deal on the dime if you call in person?? never know
but I do know he will be leaving for the long beach
show monday around 3pm EST.now his price on the 65fb
may be a bit high, I think they have been selling just over the 3k mark
and several have sold in the last 2 years, now the 66fb jumps to around 12k
in auction, and the pop3 67fb just sold for 32k at fun

The coin went unsold in the auction. It will probably be back in a few days or weeks. Inexpensive advertising if you can get someone to bite on it.
