Jimmy Kimmel just held up the Patriots logo next to a profile of John Kerry and they are the same dude.. hmmm..

    One of my really good friends, Stan Evenson, designed that logo. He also did the album covers for Frampton Comes Alive and Tom Petty's Damn the Torpedo's. When it was initially launched the NFL told him they had gotten hate mail about it, but it seems to have been accepted over time. I think it looks kinda cool, but maybe a bit sportier than John Kerry.

    I think Kerry looks like Abe Lincoln without the beard.

    I always thought it resembled Elvis.
