Has anyone found any really cool errors in SAE rolls?

I've found 3 minor strike throughs in my day. One through plastic with the plastic retained. I have seen 2 nice double strikes though but I wasn't lucky enough to find them.

The reason I asked was I came across this Ebay auction for 4 strike-thru errors from the same roll.

Hmmmmm...... they have looked at tens of th0ousands of silver eagles , but they sure sell a lot of "unopened rolls."

Has the price of ASE gone up any since the price of silver has risen?

I think so. The average price at the Fun show was $8.50. At the same time in 2003 I remember getting these for between $7.50 to $8 if not less.

I remember seeing some being sold on your favorite "Shop at Home" show a year ago that had a series of laminate strikes shown.
I forget the price. I think they had 3 or 4 of them where you could see the progression. It was cool I will admit.

SAE rolls this year went from the pre-order price of ~$145-$150 up to today's prices on ebay around $160-$165. That is due to rise in silver.
I bought 2 rolls for around $153 incl s/h
