recent Mongol addition

A friend of mine prospects in Mongolia and brought me home this coin. Honestly I was hoping for more than just ONE coin but that is all he brought home, so oh well. It is nice nonetheless.

  • I suppose a logical question is "what is it?" Sooooo:

it is a 50 Tugrik, Aluminum, national emblem on the obverse, denomination on the reverse. 1994, mintage not listed. value in UNC $1.75 (street value in mongolia is much less I imagine)

(Thanks Brad, I never would have known.)
