Indian Princely States????? - Updated

Edited to add:
I found a very impressive website about Indian coinage, and on January 12 I e-mailed these pictures to the man who maintains it. I received his response today (2/28), saying that "all the three are common Indian coins". His identifications are posted after the descriptions below, with additional comments about information I found on the internet.

I'm sure everyone will be glad to know that we're getting toward the bottom of my pile of whazzits.image

Now here are three that I think may be Indian Princely States. Any comments on that belief, or other help in pinning them down, will be appreciated.image

The colors in these pictures are about as close to accurate as any I have taken.image

#1 - 3.8g, 17.52mm, copper or bronze - "Chola dynasty copper". The Chola Dynasty in southern India reached it's peak in the mid-9th Century.

#2 - 3.1g, 14.5mm, silver colored - "a degenerate horseman type coin of medieval northern India". Many centuries elapsed from the time of Huns invasion till the coming of the Mohammedans in the twelfth century without leaving traces of history behind. Not much political history is known during this so called dark age, but definitely this was a transition point in the Indian history

imageimage - "punchmarked silver piece of Mauryan dynasty" The concept of coins as defined weights of precious metal with governmental markings of authenticity is believed to have been independently invented in Greece, India and China. The Mauryans were the Indian inventors around the 6th century B.C.E.!

#3 - 2.8g, 9.5x17mm, silver colored with a hint of golden toning

Can't help wondering if any of these are genuineimage
