Hockey Collectors...Original Parkhurst 6

OK...I do not collect modern (just vintage hockey) but one modern hockey set that has really intrigued me is the Parkhurst Original 6.

I am interested in the Bruins Box and I may collect the set. I am just curious to how fellow vintage hockey collectors feel about this set.

I think it will be a very nice product but i wont be supporting any product put out by "in the game". I never really forgave them for chopping up George Vezina's one and only known set of goalie pads to put on cards.

The fact that they are associated with the players association and have no respect for the games heritage doesnt make want to support there product either

Howitallbegan...wow, thanks for letting me know...I don't keep up much with modern issues, but I am totally against the chopping up of historical pieces for pure greed. The rationale that they are providing collectors a service by giving them a piece of history is crap. Someone's quarter of an inch, chopped up goalie pad is not cherishing history imo.

I won't buy their product either.
