What the flaw with the '83 Topps Olympian Ali card?

I was thinking of cracking a case of 1983 Topps Greatest Olympian rack packs in pursuit of a high grade Ali. Does anyone know if there is a common flaw with this card (ie centering, print spots, etc.)?

I think you can probably purchase an already graded one for less money then it will take to grade yours. I own an SGC 8.5 that I paid about 5 dollars for. Unless you have a shot at a 10 I suggest just buying one graded.

These cards are much touger to find in true MINT condition than most people realize. I have opened several cases and sent in close to 100 for grading personally, and am always looking to buy and sell more (in single, case, PSA graded form). First of all. the Clay card is a single print. You will get significantly less of that card per case than you will most of the others. Second, the cards suffer from many print defects - centering chief among, them but I have opened a case where half of the Clay cards (and only that card) were creased right out of the pack. There are at last check ZERO PSA 10's of this issue of Cassius Clay. There are about 80 PSA 9's, of which I own over half of them, mostly from my own submissions. This is a TOUGH card in MINT condition. If you have any questions please feel free to let me know and I will do the best I can to answer them. I may go open a few packs now that you have me back in the mood....Reach me at
