Does anyone know what the "magic number" is for obtaining a discount on PSA's submission prices? 2000 cards a year? 5000? 10000?

I think you need at least 1,000 a month -- and it depends, to some extent on what you are submitting
e.g. if CrazySc submits 5,000 1990 Topps Sammy Sosa cards, it is much easier and less costly to grade than say, 5,000 different cards from different years, etc.
Give Joe Orlando a call on bulk deals.
Easy to talk with, and you'll also learn things about PSA that you might not have known...
