im a newbie, and got a few questions

hi, i am new to psa and i just joined a week or so ago. my dad passed down to me his 1960's football card collection. i have many many many awesome cards in this collection. i took my cards to a local card shop and the guy who is a registered psa dealer told me that most of my cards would grade in a 8 or 9. i have all the big names and they are all in amazing condition. i just have one question. i have many many duplicates of cards, and some of them have wax stains on teh fronts of them. does anyone here know how i can get them off? please let me know cause i really wanna get them off. i dont think i woudl send them into psa for grading but i just want them to look good.


also, would it make sence for me to get my entire 1965 philadelphia set graded? every card is in absolute mint condition and the guy at the card shop told me that he woudl look into getting it done. he also told me he wouldnt be suprised if i got a couple of the cards graded a perfect 10. if i did, how much would they be worth, cause they are not in the smr.

I hope your submissions don't dissapoint. If you do get 8's and 9's, congratulations on a nice collection.

To get wax stains off of the front, try lightly rubbing panty hose over the wax. Don't rub too hard or you'll scratch the gloss. Some have reportedly had success using paper towels, but that never worked for me. Good luck,
