Saw this Mel Ott HOF plaque on eBay. $9.95 to open the bidding, $6.95 for shipping and $3.50 for optional insurance and 7.250% tax for NY residents....OUCH!!!.
The Hall Of Fame sells these plaque postacards of all HOF'er for .25 cents each at their gift shop or via mail order, I just ordered a bunch last month on a phone order, got them 3 days later...jay

Sounds like the card can make a profit, but what about the poor guy having it graded ?
Besides, the seller's been hoarding these things since the 1970's,
and therefore is entitled to a little mark-up to cover his storage fees.
