Best type of service to help sell on ebay?????

Hi Guys,

I have decided to start selling some of my duplicate graded and raw cards on ebay and wanted to know what anyone has to say about the various services out there such as Vendio, auction helper, ebay, andale etc.

Is there any one that stands out in the crowd as the best?

I am looking for one that is user friendly and that offers a complete package such as actually listing the item on ebay for you and handling the transaction from start to finish.

Any help or advice would be great!

Thanks!

Jim

I would be curious to hear opinions also. I used sparedollar for a while, but it was very unreliable (but cheap). Most of the other services seemed pricey, especially on top of Ebay and PayPal fees.

  • Jim,

Vendio works great for me. Fairly simple to launch auctions with. I beleive scan uploads are around ten cents a piece. I've never tried any others though.

  • Another question I'd like to ask connected with this topic ... Are these services the only way to get an enlarged picture of the item you're selling, or is their some feature within eBay itself that enables you to upload a larger image than the standard size (which is pretty small)?

  • I have used eBay's Turbo Lister. You can load up all of your auctions at any time. When you want to list them, you can list one or all of them at once. This is free. There is also a service that they have that allows you to start your listing when you are not there, I believe that it is 10 cents per.
If you would like larger images, you probably need to have your images on the net already. There are some services that provide this service, check out the icon below some of the images in current auctions. I have them on my web site. Most internet providers give you a small free site. You can see if yours does. After you have one on the internet, then you just have to add it to your discription.
