Got a 2004 Krause~What Other World Coin Books?

Since I find myself being drawn to "The Dark Side" I thought that it would be a good idea to have a copy of the 2004 Krause Catalog so I picked one up yesterday.

Can anyone suggest some other good books on World Coins?

Thanks!

For Canadian coins: Charlton Catalog of Canadian Coins.

Great Britain: Coins of England by Spink

There are also the 17th, 18th, and 19th Century Krauses.

  • For Japanese coins the Japanese Numismatic Dealer's Association catalog (In Japanese but with lots of pictures and usable information even if you don't read the language.) The prices are a little high for the U.S. market.

For history and descriptions in English: Japanese Coinage by Jacobs & Vermeule, 2d Ed. and/or Modern Japanese Coinage by Cummings (1st or 2d Ed.). Both are often available on EBay at reasonable prices.
