Some do...most I have seen have has haze. Even 73 silvers the same. I talked to a coin guy and some folks here on the forums that say that a product called MS70 will remove the hazing and rings from Ike proofs. MS70 is soapy, like dish soap, but contains no acids or hard chemicals. I bought some the other day but have yet to use it.

You know....I don't know yet. I have yet to use either the MS70 or the dip. I have it ....but just been afraid to use it. Just call me a chicken. From what I understand the MS70 should work well for hazing.
I use MS70 all the time on proofs and it works great at removing the haze - even better than a dip (just be VERY careful with copper). Make sure you don't put it in a PVC flip though becuase it will re-haze very easily. I use MS70 on 90% of all proofs before I send them in.

Very NICE!! I thought 74-S Silver Ikes had some kind of colorful ring-around-the-rim

What is your rinsing procedure?
I forgot to ask earlier - did you make that one. If so, double kudos!!!
