Liberty Nickel enthusiasts: I've got what looks like an 1884/1884 variety...

I think this is an example of a "1884/1884" variety (according to the information that I found at http://www.libertynickels.org/). It's an NGC PR66.
The doubling of the "1" in the date is apparent:
1884 5C PR66 (1884/1884?)
Do any of you know if this is a rare variety? Would it be worth sending it to PCGS or NGC to have the variety specified?
Thanks,
Dan

No, it's only the "1" that is doubled.

The variety Rick is speaking of is in the Cherry Pickers guide as FS-13.8. There were two PCGS PR65CA in the FUN sale of this variety. I have one in NGC PF64CA. NGC will designate this variety while PCGS does not. I have an ANACS Unc net AU example which is the only business strike I have seen. (this may have been a proof too). NGC lists some of the business strikes in their pop reports. This coin is not that uncommon. The coin you have linked looks like the same variety.
I am going to send mine to PCGS this week so I can include it in my proof Liberty registry set. I am waiting to hear if they will designate the variety, but I doubt it.
