SUPERPUNK813's contest was fun, but a little too easy.
I'll send a full unopened 1974 football pack to the first that can answer the following 5 questions correctly :
1. How many times did Ed Podolak fumble during the 1971 season ?
2. As of the end of the 1961 AFL season, who held the record for most field goals made in one AFL game ?
3. Who was the 1st president to attend an NFL game while in office ?
4. Who was the pro football player nicknamed "The Catawba Claw" ?
5. Which NFL star stated the following ? :
"I didn't mind losing the second wife as much as losing the '56 Mercury to her. I loved that car. It was the first decent car I ever owned"
hee hee hee, I think my pack will not be going anywhere ...

IAN - Based on your link it looks like Tricky Dicky was the 1st pres to view an NFL game while in office (1969).
My pick of IKE was a shot in the dark anyway, but I find that remarkable that no pres prior to '69 attended an NFL game especially w/ the Redskins being so close...jay

Tricky Dicky... Haven't heard him called that in a while since one of my pals referred to him during a Watergate lecture last year and the class erupted in laughter.
I actually thought the same thing, though, about the Redskins being so close and the fact that Johnson played some sort of football. You would think that Ike was the type of guy who would love football, right? I'm almost 100% sure Ike had been in attendance at some NFL game(s), but I think I got lucky with Google and on a technicallity (the in office part).
lol, Let's just hope I'm lucky with all of the other answers
