...... Thats the worst that I can do with Darkside Coins but here is a real winner that was purchased on Ebay as a possible 1909S VDB Lincoln Cent.

I have not been able to figure out if it is or not. Maybe this was not a good buy. Hmmm........

. Next time at the coin shop I will buy a real Dud so a official entry can be made next time.

Dimitri, don't you like the toning on that 1953 set?

Go figure. That set has a bid for $49.00. I had a superb set up on ebay that got only 1 bid for $49.99, from a buyer that went NARU. Oh well, at least I still have the set and I'm just out the $1.10.

My entry is a lightside coin that appears to have had a gas bubble between the layers and it was struck with a foreign object on the obverse in an attempt to break the bubble.

Just heat them up!

Had a fire and most of the clad coins in the safe ended up looking like that.
