For those of you familiar with the coins, do you know why so many are found bent? The first one who replies with the answer I'm looking for will receive a collector's coin of my choice. Be as specific as possible without rambling.

Yes! We have a winner. They were used in place of a screw driver because they are so thin. A coin to Coulport, sorry I don't have any more Hungarian 1939 coins.

Using them as a screw driver leaves them with a distinctive twisting rather than a bend.

Also, wasn't there a tradition to carry a bent 6d for good luck? (Pre 1800s?)
