    The looking up part is fine once you know the country, but I'm trying to learn how to know where to look and the details I was after were how you recognized the countries.

  • Satootoko, most of Nepal's coins have very typical design, also because of their letters and also because of their numbers. When you'll be owner of some of them , you could be always able to recognize the other their coins in future----that was hapened in my case image


    as for Iran coins, it looks like they have their own type of stylization of arabic numbers, that looks to me also typical for coins from Iran (at least for these , that were ever in my collection) image
