This is an interesting question, as I have a few coins that didn't sell at FUN. The interesting part is that almost each of these coins, I'd love to keep; there was left, a beautiful alabama, a pop1 Albany, a Grant w/star that is very rare and striking, an Iowa that I kept after a lot of p8s I passed on, an unbelievable Pan Pac that I'd love to say I'd "be happiest to have", but there's a probable eventual upgrade in the most valuable Sesqui, so, what a tough decision... I'd go with the Pan Pac, or Grant w/, I guess.... Hmmm... ...value aside... I'd go with keeping the screaming Pan Pac. good question... Check it. Toned on one side from original framed holder...
Very nice 54-P, David. I wish I could find one like that. I have several really nice Lincolns, but the coin I like to look at the most is my 22-D in 66RD. Sorry I don't have a pic.
I picked up a couple at the FUN show last week that rank near, if not at, the top of my list.
An 1861-P half dime in PCGS MS65 (not a good reverse photo)
An 1879 dime in PCGS MS66
The obverse of the 1879 dime is as prooflike as the reverse. I'm just having trouble capturing it in a photo. It makes a nice mate for my icon coin below, an 1879 quarter that I've had for 32 years. It was slabbed in 1988 by PCGS as MS65.
This is one I never get tired of looking at. PCGS MS67R.
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose.
A pcgs 64rd 1919-s Lincoln Cent. Pretty much looks perfect at first glance, with absolutely gorgeous color and luster and strike (kind of like David's 54P!) but I guess a small carbon speck extremely well hidden on his coat accounts for the grade.
Runner ups, 1917-s (64rd) and 1926-s (64rb) Lincolns with pretty similar looks and quality as the 19-s!!

If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
