It is BR-190 and is listed in my Charlton at $10.00 in Unc. but I'm using a 1963 Charlton I don't know if they were minted as Specimens or not. I rather doubt it though.

Boz, that is a beauty. I'm one of the underbidders ... so far?
5th edition of Charlton (2003) lists it as Newfoundland - Rutherford, NF-1B(1 or 2), also Breton BR952 and Corteau Co 2NF. Valued at $400 Canadian in AU. This one is the best that I've seen. Just about all that get offered on eBay bring higher than catalogue. This one will close at higher than $400 US!!

The hanging sheep on this token is very similar in design to a series of Conder tokens from Rochdale in Lancashire. I know that the similarity in design was discussed several years ago in the eBay coin chat room by one of the countries top token experts but since I was not interested in Conder tokens at the time I do not remember what, if any, relationship existed between the two tokens.
