I just started adding some pictures to my 1977 New York Yankees team set and I'm addicted! How nuts would it be to scan up the whole 660-card '77 set and put it on the registry? At what point do I need therapy? I just bought a new scanner for Christmas and I'm "lettin' the fun begin!" Anyone else experience this "scanner-mania"? I'm thinking about scanning my water bills, gum wrappers...if it'll lay flat--it's getting scanned!!! Send all your flat items to:

In addition to posting them on the registry, there is the secondary benefit of having a record of the cards I own. Once they are all scanned I'm going to put them on a CD and drop it in my safe deposit box. You never know when you might need to identify a card or prove the value of a stolen or destroyed collection.
that munson and randolph really float my boat. i know the munson will be out of my price range but do you have a raw randolph that looks that nice or an already graded mint copy???
i am also addicted to scanning pictures. my problem is that i can't get them that big. if i get lucky and do, they are too blurry

I wish more people did it, so I could admire their sets.
However I recently had one of my scans stolen and quickly posted on ebay. If it were not for a few board members spotting my card on ebay, somebody would have gotten scammed big time. I currently have and own a PSA 8 2002 Legendary cuts Babe Ruth signature 3/3 and have posted the card back in March 2003 and June 2003. Twice the scan was stolen and put on ebay. And so I had to notify ebay twice and let them know that somebody's out to get scammed big time. The card last went for $9,000. before it was removed by ebay. The interesting part was the second time around I put the Property of Jery Lee all over the card, and it was amazing that somebody would go through the trouble and erase all my wording and re-sell the card back on Ebay. Since June of 2003 I haven't put a scan up for that card. The card just sits in my Safe deposit box and will always be apart of my collection.
Also I used to have the whole entire 1959 Fleer Ted Williams set w/ scans but some how they disapeared of the registry. I contacted PSA and let them know my scans disapeared, and after awhile they came back. But then sometime later they disapeared again, which I was kind of bummed out about.
I'm currently working on the Michael Jordan master set of 2576 cards in my free time, and plan to add scans to all the cards. That should be fun.

The Randolph is the best of the six MINT 9's I've turned or purchased. There are three copies of that card in the pop report that I haven't seen so I'm not certain if the one in my set is the finest, but it's going to be hard to beat as it is razor sharp, registered with a strong color-strike and centering. Thus, the answer is "no" I don't have one that nice layin' around. Same with Thurman. Cards like those typically don't come off of eBay--they CAN, but not usually. I will be able to make you happy on the Randolph though. It's not a difficult card to find MINT, but NICE is another story. The only distraction for me on my copy is some light print dust (red) to the right of Willie's head. I had the same thing in the exact same spot on my '53 Jackie Robinson--it's like a soft red cloud that is only apparent when you're looking for it--but it's there. I have some nice NM/MT Munson's from vending that have light print issues or T/B centering problems that are not too distracting. If you'd like I can submit them and contact you or just go raw...maybe I'll SCAN some for you
