Sorry to tell you, but although the PCGS price guide is inflated for PCGS coins, most of the coins you have are in less respected holders, and don't command much money. For example, the PCI PR70 MD 25c will fetch around $10-$20, nowhere near the $800 you have it priced at. Also, the SGS PR70 dime...
You'll find that of the slabs you have listed, only PCGS is going to command a price close to the guide, if even a PCGS coin does.
Sorry,
Jeremy
this is what happens when someone who knows nada buys what the market makers say is $$$$$$$$$
I sadly wouldnt pay more than 60 bucks for the entire lot
and thats being extremely generous

If you want your thread to be read, turn off the caps lock and quit screaming.
If you bought these coins based on the PCGS price guide values I would suggest you place you head right beside your icon.
Is there some point in castigating this poor guy in a public forum? Seems a PM would be much more polite.
He is stuck with some questionable coins - mauling him in public won't solve that. I also see he is a new member, perhaps
trying to help educate would be a better path to take?
Thanks,
-Brian
If he wanted help he would have asked for it instead of trying to sell us unsuspecting chumps at HIS discount prices. We are teaching him.
but perhaps you know better.
"trying to sell us unsuspecting chumps at HIS discount prices"
I doubt that really, he is new and has a large group of very questionable coins.
"If he wanted help he would have asked for it "
He may not know to do that, from the formatting of his post I suspect he is rather new to bulletin boards and obviously new to this board.
Thanks,
-Brian
If I ever end up in a trial I hope your on the jury. Last response, I won't keep this at the top any longer.
The fact that he knows enough to quote CU prices and find the PCGS B/S/T board implies that he knows what he is doing.
The fact that he actually listed this junk to a knowledgeable audience implies that he does not.
Maybe this will turn into another heart-wrencher like 2 months ago with the guy selling off his coins for his surgery, etc. Now, if the person honestly did not know that he is selling overgraded junk, I apologize. However, I am suspicious of anyone who fires off an ad like that.

I wasnt attacking him, I was pointing out his stupidity, seeing as he knows full well not one of those coins is worth what hes quoting.

no need to feel emabrassed....live & learn....happens to everyone, especially with coins. I'd wager alot of people on these boards could tell similar stories.
So many on ebay and few here love to take advantage of newbies to the hobby..I thought thats exactly what you were trying to do and it pissed me off.
But boy am I STUPID not to realize that maybe it was you who was taken.
For that I deeply apologize.

Hang in there and don't be too embarrassed. Buy a few good books like "Coin Collectors Survival Manual" by Travers and hang around these forums and you'll catch on quickly. It's a wonderful and rewarding hobby full of traps and crooks. But it's worth putting up with both.
Good luck.
