I have finally gotten around to entering all of my PCGS proof Lincolns on the site...so I guess you could say I have officially started a "registry set" (only 53% complete..but hey...it's a start!) in the 1959-2003 Proofs w/variety category. Pretty cool that PCGS let's you do this on the site...and compare yourself to others. I am posting to get everyone's feedback on good dealers to purchase PCGS proof Lincolns from. I have purchased most of my slabs from eBay auctions (and I've gotten some sweeeeeeeet deals there too) and I have also bought from two reputable dealers. If any of you have recommendations for dealers, their websites, etc., I would really appreciate your input. Also, does anyone know what the 1990-S No "S" is going for these days in proof condition??? $5K? $10K? Talk about hard to find.....WHEW. Thanks in advance for your help..

You have a great start to collecting the Lincoln proof set. You have all the most recent ones in great PR69 condition. You should strive to get ALL 79 Lincoln proofs thru last year and of course add a new one as they come out. It is a great collection to own. I might suggest as you seek the pre 1977's that you consider cherrypicking some raw ones out of dealer boxes and submitting to PCGS. You may get lucky if you have a good eye. I would think that buying these coins slabbed in a high grade is going to cost you some money. Once you complete the Memorials (with or without the no S for now), don't stop there. Go for the 26 Wheat cents also! Collecting Lincolns can be fun and profitable. Buy what you can afford. Don't get caught up in the #1 race. You can have lots of fun with Lincoln proofs and they DON"T have to cost you big bucks. Good luck. Steve
