I need 36 more cards to complete my raw 1972 Topps set

Hi Guys, I am posting thread here because it would mean alot to me if my PSA friends helped me with this set. I have been working on a low grade raw 1972 Topps set for about five years now. I say low grade because this set contains the actual cards from my childhood that I collected in 1972. I did what most other kids did those days. I flipped them, used them on my bike, the whole nine yards. I also fished them out of the garbage twice after my mom threw them away. I currently need only 36 more cards to complete this set. I am looking for cards that have no grading value but still are nice to look at. Off centered is fine, diamond cut is fine, slightly rounded corners is fine. Just as long as the cards look somewhat nice and they are cheap. Take a look at that pile of junk cards in the corner and see if you have any that I need. If anyone can help me with these cards, email me - nbdowney@msn.com. Thanks, Neil

    Just a suggestion.

  • Hi Paul, Thank you so much for your kind offer. It is no often that someone "gives" another collector cards for their set without looking for something in return. Your act of kindness will not go unnoticed. In the future, I will be sure to go out of my way (as you did) to help someone else with their set. Perhaps someday this thing will snowball into what collecting used to be like. Collectors just helping collectors because this is fun and the memories last forever. Neil

It already has. Some on this board are familiar with a group I belong to: oldbaseball.com. We all send and receive cards because they are needed for a set. Nothing is sent out with the expectation in something in return. What goes around comes around in this group.
