HELP! Where do I buy Holders to submit cards?!?

imageimageimage

imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

Hi all! This may not be the appropriate place, but, I have been searching and searching
and searching for the cheapest place to buy about 1000 of each size (Pre-57 size and
the post 1956 Baseball sizes) the "STOR-SAFE" or "CARD SAVER" or "ULTRA PRO" type
holders that I use for submissions and regular inventory control. Anyone that can help
please put it up here so everyone can see.....it is much appreciated! I thank all in
advance! I think the sizes are 3x5 and 3-1/4 or 3-1/2 X 5.

    Here you go...try..

    cardboardgoldstore.com .

    click on the "cardsaver" tab.

I've used this company MANY times in the past, and always had top notch service. You can purchase in increments of 100 (2000 will get you the case price).

Hey Tony...Thanks for the offer on the Morton card, however I already have one...

Just looked at my supply of CS's and I also need to get on the horn and order a couple of cases. With this great submission special going on, I don't want to get caught short. Cardboard Gold ran out of CS #1 and #4's last year....

    See 'ya...

  • I always get them on eBay for a nice price.

  • I used to use Cardboardgold till recently. Went to their website to place my order. When I was finished and clicked the checkout, it brought me to yahoo's checkout service. Seems Cardboardgold is now a Yahoo store. Typed in my passwoed and than Yahoo asked me for my alternate secret password??? Since I didn't remember and have never used Yahoo to buy anything, I asked to have this alternate secret password emailed to me. I did this 3 times in the last week and received nothing from Yahoo.
I than decided just to call Cardboardgold and give my order over the phone. I got a rep who was rude and abrupt. He told me they were and internet company and only did business over their website. When I explained my problems with their Yahoo checkout system, he said "just use the website's checkout. " I tried again and it still bounced me to Yahoo's checkout. At this point the rep said he couldn't help me and that I should contact Yahoo with my problem. Thanks for nothing cardboardgold. image. I emailed Zardoz and what I needed is in the mail.image

  • Fabfrank,

I think from an earlier post you said you are from Long Island. I buy supplies at Tri-County Flea Market in Levittown. They have a good selection of holders, boxes, etc.
  • ZodiacMindwarp- Yes I am from Long Island and I know where Tri-County is. Thanks for the heads up. I usually buy my card and comic supplies in bulk (3000-5000 minimum). I'll check them out next time I'm there. But it's sooo much easier having it delivered directly to the door.image

I've always used top-loaders with a penny sleeve insert and a piece of tape on the top. It seems safer than the card savers, as they seem too flexible. I haven't had a problem. Anyone else here prefer the top loaders?

It also seems that taking a card in/out of a card saver can put undo pressure on the edges.
    Enjoy your collection!
