Nice coin. I've been seriously considering collecting early N.Z. coins.

The coin has much more pizzaz than what is shown in this photo. I thought maybe proof also but did not want to say anything seems how I did not remember what the coin was called to begin with. If it is a proof it has seen circulation, minor but circulated.

How would I tell if this is a proof issue ? I have not owned hardly any proof coins and know zippo about this type of coinage.

Thanks for the comments. This coin is really pretty. image

PS: Here is another coin that I thought was and is Cool.

Half Pennies and One pennies is what I was after today. Australia and New Zeeland was the focus. Found only a one penny from Australia so I went to the British book and picked out three half pennies and one One penny. All were in the 1920's and 30's but still nice coins.

Some where along this journey some focus must come. Right now if something is seen it is bought. I guess that is not all bad though. image

I have access to a lot of low grade Australian Half Pennies and pennys, just pm me if you are interested, I can also look around for higher grades if you are willing to live in abject poverty to pay for them.
