Future market of Toned coins?

Hi David,

I hope you had a successful FUN show.

I heard that toned coins (not just monster toned) were really hot at the FUN show. What is your oppinion on the future market of toned coins in the next few years.

    Hi Paul,

    I feel that the resurgence of demand for "monster" toned coins in the past few years is a fantastic development. In the 70s we used to get $25 or so for common date Morgans with wild toning when full retail on white Gems was $8 to $10. Then in the late 90s everybody wanted "White" coins. I love the wild red, blue, and green toned silver coins and I really glad those coins are once again selling for the premiums they deserve.

    I think it's a healthy market and I think really pretty coins are worth a premium.
