Just saw the grades:
1 21432646 1910-S 1C MS64RB - No red, but bluish/green and no brown either - looks like a toned proof.
2 21432647 1926-S 1C XF40BN - Filler for my Registry set - found it in a pound of "Unsearched Wheats" from ebay (31-S also!!!!)
3 21432648 1884-O S$1 MS64 - Submitted for a friend - generous grade (I thought 62/63 - dings on cheek and weak reverse)
4 21432649 1887 S$1 MS64 - Mine - undergraded - thought it was a 65 (still do!)
So I sent in two for my Lincoln registry set - I thought the 10-S would go 65, shot at 66 - a beautiful, sharp strike with zero bag marks, dings, etc. I bought it out of my local dealer's case - paid $17 for it (he thought it was MS60ish) but I know Lincolns! He also sold me the '87 for AU58 money ($16 about? - I forget exactly). I LOVE this dealer! Very conservative grader - just wish he had more inventory!
Next to go to PCGS from his case is a '02 IHC which I think is a lock 65RD but I paid him 60ish money. ($28? again, I don't remember exactly - we rarely do receipts.)
I will post a pic of the 10-S when I get it back. I hope I can capture the true color and sharpness of the strike. It is one of my favorite Lincolns in my set.
