Now it's time to cross my fingers...

My first serious bid for a Heritage auction has just been entered. It will be interesting to see if I get skunked again...

Yep, that's the one. Just one lot. I would have like to bid on all of those marvelous wreath crowns but that is outside of my area for the moment.

I faxed in my bid sheet this morning, but they don't show up in the "my bids" section yet. I hope they got my bid sheet! image

I may kick myself in the arse but I just placed my bid on eBay instead of heritage's site for the coin that I got outbid on heritage's site. I know it will cost me an extra %5 but I want it.

I've bid on nothing yet. In fact, I'm trying to avoid browsing the lots for fear that I might get tempted. With Ponterio and a few others coming up soon, I shouldn't even be reading these threads .image

In theory I won, but since I didn't bid via ebay, how do I know??

Seems like I won a few set of maundy coins.

What did you win, in theory?

"Live" on a dialup would be scary. I watched the bids and lots sometimes skip by at a staccato clip, not knowing where the "real" bidding might be. I'll keep to the old-fashioned, view 'em person and be on the floor.....that's hectic enough as it is.

On another note, I'm glad I bought my MS64++ RD 1856 penny when I did. If I caught it right, the Haller piece went for $2070 with the juice........imageimageimage

I don't know if I did win. My maximum bid that I submitted through the Heritage website was not exceeded, but I have not been notified either. How long before the confirmation comes?
