My first serious bid for a Heritage auction has just been entered. It will be interesting to see if I get skunked again...

Yep, that's the one. Just one lot. I would have like to bid on all of those marvelous wreath crowns but that is outside of my area for the moment.

"Live" on a dialup would be scary. I watched the bids and lots sometimes skip by at a staccato clip, not knowing where the "real" bidding might be. I'll keep to the old-fashioned, view 'em person and be on the floor.....that's hectic enough as it is.
On another note, I'm glad I bought my MS64++ RD 1856 penny when I did. If I caught it right, the Haller piece went for $2070 with the juice........
I don't know if I did win. My maximum bid that I submitted through the Heritage website was not exceeded, but I have not been notified either. How long before the confirmation comes?
