It's probably too late tonight, but we'd like to hear a report from Toneboy...

I'd like to hear the impressions from our newest, best YN, having been to a number of shows, including FUNs, and lots of LBs, among others... How was it for you, Toneboy?

I'm still proud of the way he rated one of my Kennedies a "10". That's all the confirmation I needed.
Toneboy will prepare his report after he shows up at school tomorrow (for the first time this year) Right now he is pulling an "all nighter" on the homework he missed this week while attending FUN.

Too bad you're not from Oregon. Schools closed this week, here. No homework. Next week's load will probably be heavy, though...
in air hockey. We had a deal we couldn't come to terms on so we decided to settle it at the local
arcade. I think I got hustled.
Mitch, Next time we'll settle it at the pool hall...

On a separate subject, I really want to thank OnlyRoosies and his friend Alden, as they located a spectacular arcade and shared 2-3 hours with myself and Justin just having fun playing arcade games. I can assure you, Justin had the time of his life.

Bill, Your at it again. I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong. Toneboy's favorite coin is a Roosie that he graded an 11.
An x- Nick Cascio Roosie.....
Through the 5000 lots we viewed, it surprised me that I only saw a few coins that really sparked my interest. Monster toned coins are very hard to come by these days! I did love lot 9812 - the error Ike Dollar struck on a penny planchet (no date), because it had very nice color. I went to ask Norma for the opening bid sheet and I researched that it would start at about $7,550. I knew at that point that it would be better to try to wait and see if we could find one cheaper.
The most fun things I did on the trip were: (1) going to the Arcade with Nick and Alden. We spent 2-3 hours playing air hockey, shooting pistols and playing racing games. Those guys were really entertaining; (2) seeing Peter Pan and Cheaper By The Dozen with Dad; (3) going to Vitos Chop House and partying with Dad and his friend. Dad's friend showed me how to properly attack a Porterhouse bone. First you order your big steak with a bone. Next, after you finish the meat, you sneak up on your bone. Then, you look around to make sure no one is watching you. Next, you tell the bone who's boss while growling at it ("Who's Your Daddy" and "Bone - You're Mine")! Finally, you attack the bone with vigor. Dad's friend was the Center on the Football team and always ate his meat this way. When the waiter walked by, his eyes buldged and just said "Wow" as we attacked our bones! I was feeling pretty good after three IBC Root Beers as well!; (4) attending the auctions, especially when Steve's Commem coins went off.
All in all, it was a very successful trip. Steve, I appreciate all the books you have sent me on coins and I was happy to cheer your coins on as they went higher and higher at the auctions
I hope to see all my coin buddies soon.
Toneboy.
Yours was one of the best reports about FUN that I've read. For what it's worth, there's a nice miniature golf course on International Drive really close to the FUN show. The gold course is called Pirates Cove. When I take my kids to the show, we always play a round. You won't be able to play next year because the FUN show is not being held in Orlando next year, but in 2006 you should talk your Dad into playing a round with you. It's a bit on the expensive side, but I'm sure your Dad can afford it with all the nice coins he's bought and sold!

You make it all sound so fun and positive. I love to hear it!!!
Enjoy the books, and keep up the great work !
