CHERRY PICKERS' MARKET???

Although it looks like Heritage did well overall with the sale, I am curious about the seemingly high number of unsold items - almost 1,000 out of a total sale inventory of approximately 6,000 coins. Now they have them listed in their "Post Sale Bargains" section of their web site. Interested in learning more about the market from experienced numismatists & dealers especially if this is a "cherry-pickers" market or if the entire market is experiencing a general trend upward.
