Question about Krause updates

This may seen a foolish question but I would like to know.
When Krause updates a new issue how much, if any, updates on prices are done on coins dated 1901 - 1950 (for example).
My reasons for asking is that I am not very interested in more modern coin values and the only 20th century Krause I have is the 2000 issue.
Is there any good reason for me to consider getting a newer issue?
I hope this can be understood...

Someone posted a thread a while back about prices increasing in the upcoming 2005 Krause due to the weakening $.

than the old prices. They are sometimes changed with a formula to reflect in-
creases in silver or changes in the dollar. For instance silver coin prices were
raised dramatically in the '81 edition because silver was so high when it was be-
ing made, but then these were never lowered when silver came down. S. African
coins were dramatically lowered during this era when the political problems were
severe, and they've never been raised back up. Many coins have soared in value
since the mid 1970's but for the main part most of these are still listed at old
prices.
My favorite Krause for pricing is the '76. There are several "fudge factors" that have
be applied to these prices but at least it results in a realistic number.
I have 17 different editions since the catalog began so if you, or anyone, ever have any particular countries or coins in mind I can go back to the 1st edition and trace any changes, or trends, through to the 30th edition to give you an idea of the scope of change.
