What a wife! Did you have to give her hints? image

Trozau - Just a few subtle hints. image

Actually, I finally gave up on dropping subtle hints and never getting what I really wanted. This year I gave her the dealers business card with my hand written notes on the back + showed her the tokens on their website before I left town.

Two years ago my hints on wanting coins for Christmas got me a watch with a Walking Liberty 50 cent piece as the face image

On the second piece, is that 1301 part of the design or written on?

    BTW - very nice tokens.

Gene - The number on the second piece is a museum ascension number. I have a couple of pieces with these numbers on them. Museums like to number everything in their collections.

Generally speaking I do not find them much of a distraction or much of a detraction as long as the piece is high quality. Sort of in the same category as laquered copper coins.
