another

Opus 60...compare to the gallery image where I had blue light coming in on the left and I over exaggerated the sharpness. This image is pretty much right on.

  • I know all of you photo experts are trired of questions but............ I got ta ask another.

    What do use as the background when you make your photos. The reason I ask is that I have not found anything to give me that totally "dead" black background with no reflections, absolutley black and no highlights and reflections?

    Sorry to be asking for more help, but I do need to learn.
    Becoming informed but still trying to learn every day!

    Not a problem Wayne...I use black velvet (not the horse...heh heh). Sometimes I'll get a little reflection off of it but not often. I will eventually use masking and layers in Photoshop to do the same thing but for me, using the velvet helps me set up the composition beter without the distraction behind the subject matter. S
