Finally back

Finally made it back safely to my side of the big pond. image

Just a bit colder here than it was in Singapore!

Jet Lag image Was wide awake and up at 2am this morning.

Did not have any time to search out any coin stores while in Singapore image too many hours spent working. I did manage to leave my wallet in a taxi on Christmas though. Gotta love structured, orderly societies, a few phone calls and the cab driver made a special trip to my hotel to return it to me personally. image

Wybrit - the only reason my backside is sore is 18 hours in an economy seat! I'm a good boy, I am image

  • Good to see you back. I hope that overall, sans wallet, your business trip went very good.

...the cab driver made a special trip to my hotel to return it to me personally.

Great ending to a usually sad story. I've had similar experiences with lost items in Japan - always got them back.

Gum is legal in Singapore now. They changed the law last year.

farthing, did you get to go to the nocturnal zoo? It opens at Midnight and you can see all kinds of crazy-looking night-dwelling creatures.
