i guess he just doesnt want to pay the fee to set a reserve price or something, so he jacks up shipping & handling..

    And he wants
    to avoid paying Ebay fees!
They charge based on sale not
    shipping.
(it is against their rules, but many do it)

  • He wants to make up for a low sell price in the shipping charges. Bad business!

BKAH is correct. This is from eBay's site :

Users may not use systems or techniques to circumvent eBay fees.
    Example :
Unreasonable shipping or handling costs - listings with low prices but unreasonably high shipping or handling costs.

  • I have started to bid on many cards that had an hour to go and were only at like $3 (and usually sell for $15+) when right before I clicked place bid I saw the shipping fee was $15.00 !!!

and insurance was an additional $5.00

    made me mad

    check this one out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2778023288

Shipping and handling: US $10.00 and it's a RAW card!!! is that overnight or what??? probably not, most like will be mailed in a sleeve, plain white envelope, with a 37 cent stamp
