Seven coins from PCGS perfection. Sure wish the FUN show could have been made to view this set and the other two that will be on display.

Oh yea. PCGS perfection was used to keep the non belivers content....image

I wonder if the 1923 MS68FB coin that I saw for auction recently will end up in this collection? I believe it is one of the very few upgrades needed. Also a pop 1/0 coin.

When he makes it, he should do a printout quick. PCGS perfection is a fleeting thing...... image

    Wayne,

Don't feel bad - I too will not be joining the FUN - rather dissapointed I really thought I'd be able to hop over for a couple - so I can understand your pain image

    This set makes one swoon!

  • Thanks Guys

I'm going to keep trying to get as many as I can.

PCGS knows that they can show the set anytime so maybe in the future they can show them out at Long Beach.

BTW, I also got to meet BJ. What a very nice lady. Thank you for being so nice and helpful, BJ. image

    Hi Joshua,

I too congratulate you on adding yet another "finest known" coin to your collection. Hey, that's two in two weeks! I wish I could have attended FUN and seen your collection, but it was just not in the cards. I hope you know that all the Mecateers are cheering you on towards building "The Perfect Set"

There aren't enough adjectives to describe the Apollo and Joshua II sets. I would have liked to have had BJ take each coin out of the case so I could examine them all closely, but it would have taken all day, and then there's the problem of cleaning the holders after drooling on them (Don't worry, Joshua, I'm only kidding. But not by much!). I suggested to BJ that the coins should be put on some kind of a device that would turn them over so you could see the reverses without taking them out of the display case.

Beautiful set, Joshua, and congratulations on your recent upgrades. It'll be a tough act for anyone to follow.
