Those do look nice. Beautiful toning to boot! Are you going to have them graded by PCGS?

Are they all from the same mint set? That's a real winner!

Yes, all from the same set.

Did you see the pic of the Half that I posted?

I think I made out very good with this purchase.

I'm confused or you're pulling my leg.
I've only ever seen one dime per mint set.
Tell me I'm not hallucinating !

Hey that first one's really neat.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

    Skipper:

From 1947-1949, and from 1951-1958, the mint sets were sold with two examples of each coin. You got two of each from Philly, two of each from Denver and two of each from San Francisco until they closed up after 1955. So six dimes would be right (2 P's, 2 D's and 2 S's.) And you got good value for your money back then. The face value of the set is $5.46 and they cost $6.14. Aye, aye skipper!(sorry, I had to say it.) image

Should have added that not all of the mint sets had the same amount of San Francisco coins. The 1955 set doesn't have any nickels, quarters or halves from San Francisco because they weren't struck that year. image
