Can / will a flip cause a coin to hase. I had some new quarters that I put into flips about a month ago, when I looked at them today there very hazy. Was this caused by the flip or by something else. If it was the flip, what kind should I buy so this doesn't happen again.
Thanks
Dave

Absolutely. Vinyl flips are notorious for causing haze. Use only mylar, preferably ET Kointainer SAFLIPS.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the safe type of flips the stiff, crackly ones?

That's correct, although current stuff isn't really crackly, just stiff.
