This is an extraordinary price for an oddball Tram card:
Link. The Topps version of this card usually sells for $30-ish. I don't follow baseball cards much, but isn't it anomolous for an Opee to sell for 5x the same Topps card?

What set is yours on the registry?
I've been quietly hoarding trammell cards for a long time. At the end of this year I'll probably put my set on the registry, when I do it'll be 75% complete in PSA 9 (except for the Burger King Card which is being sent to PSA this month and should be an 8)
I'm currently on the top of the basic and master sets for Trammell. I have only been buying graded cards off ebay and posting them on the registry. With the new grading special, I have a bunch that I'll be sending in. I have well over 600 different Tram cards and have been collecting him for years.
In my mind the Burger King card is the hardest to find in anything above a 7. I'm not sure if an 8 or 9 exists. Does anyone know?
Man, it's great to see so many Tram fans!

I'm working on a Trammell basic set, having decided that a master set is more than I can handle (for now, anyway. ). I intend to register my set soon and also hope to take advantage of the current special. So far one of the funnest parts has actually been just trying to figure out which cards it makes sense to include in this set. The current set compostion shows that there are still many holes in what's been submitted even among the earlier years of his basic cards, indicating lots of room for the set to grow as serious collectors submit particular cards for the first time. I find player checklist construction almost as entertaining as collecting the cards themselves, so it's been interesting to try and project which cards make sense to consider hunting for first-time submission. Researching basic sets of players whose careers overlapped Trammell's as much as possible (Ozzie Smith, Kirby Puckett, Roger Clemens, Cal Ripken, Wade Boggs, etc.) proved helpful here. It encouraged me to eliminate what I would call "tweener" sets (such as O-Pee-Chee Premier, Donruss Triple Play, Sportflics, and Pacific) from consideration based on the fact that they frequently appear in the master sets of more frequently submitted players, but not the basic sets.
For those who are interested, the list appears as part of my Trammell website at this link. If you're planning to look at other pages on the site, though, I would use the link in my signature to start at the main page; the link above doesn't load the site's navigation menus. Some day I need to bring my HTML skills out of the stone age and redesign this setup...
Look forward to more card chatting with everyone,
Peter G.
We have talked before! it's great to hear from you again. I see your name pop up on Ebay all the time with Tram items. You bring up a great question as to what should be included in the basic set. I'm not sure what the right answer is, maybe we should pose the question to the rest of the board. I'll start a separate thread.
Our Tigers did not fair too well in the HOF voting today. As always, wait till next year...
