POPULATION: NGC 607 PCGS 7 ?

1944p ms67 jefferson nickels population report: ngc 607 and pcgs 7 ? what happen ?
Is the pcgs 7 worth 25-30% more? In some cases the ngc numbers will be lower then pcgs? I know some collectors/dealers take pcgs 66's and try to cross to ngc 67's.If the coins look the same ,is pcgs the best buy? Thanks, BILL

Of course not. If you can buy an NGC MS67 where the coin is equal to a PCGS MS67, why would you buy PCGS? With that kind of population spread, the NGC coin is likely to be far less expensive.

I have one of the MS67 PCGS coins in my set. It cost way too much, it took forever to find one for sale, and I was happy to finally get the chance to write the check for it.

Since then I've looked at several of the NGC MS67s, but haven't found one yet that I'm willing to invest a grading fee in. If I ever do cross one, I figure the cost-average price of my first PCGS coin will drop in half.
    When in doubt, don't.
