What's the catalogue price of these coins?








VF? or aEF? I am leaning towards VF...

According to my Krause (3rd edition) the 1/4 Rupee has a VF value of 5-10 dollars, XF 10-20 dollars and UNC 20-40 dollars. The Calcutta mint has a diameter of 19.3-19.4 mm with coarse milling. The Mumbai/Bombay mint has a diameter of 19.7-19.8 mm with narrow milling. The Madras mint has a diameter of 19.9-20.0 mm and coarse milling. (That is what is says about year 1862 in any case). The upper values are for the Madras mint. I'm sure someone else can add something more intelligent than my scant reading in Krause.
