storing raw coins

Another rookie question.

What are the better ways to store raw coins?
Should they be stored in flips???
Albums??

Please don't say PCGS slabs

Flips are always a good thing... just be sure they're not PVC flips

Get an old US Mint bag off of ebay and put them in there raw....check in a few years for some nice toners

All my raw coins are in saftey flips I never use PVC type flips

I store all my raw coins in InterceptShield holders which is really easy for me because all my coins are the same size. All I collect is Morgans.

forget holders period.
i think the best and most natural way to store raw coins is in jars, coffee cans, socks, paper rolls, shoe boxes,etc.

You're laughing, but I am actually trying that

I bought a $25 mix of the state quarters from the mint in June03 and opened it with my mom at Christmas....I took the ones I needed for my album ( I still need a few BU ...notably P mintmarks...from 02-03 but that bag helped) and put leftovers in the bag (carefully actually) to see if I get some neat toning.
I actually pulled out a few quarters that had already started to tone (and they had been put away in my home/office in the closet in the original mint box/bag since I received them). I have a few more of them and some others in the same spot....maybe some neat toners in a few years.

I also have some extra bags that my uncle had emptied and sold/returned to usage since he bought them in '99. So, I have put some halves and ikes in those
