Greysheet only lists prices for major grade levels - i.e. AU50, MS60, 63, 64 etc. To figure a price for an AU58, you will need to extrapolate based on AU to MS60 spread and how nice the coin is. For 61, 62 you can use Bluesheet & extrapolate a sight-seen price. Suggest you go to greysheet web site & order the $14 special - one each of the current sheets. As with any price guide, the prices are composite indicators ONLY. If you know the general direction of the market in the specific coin and its look, you can determine a price range.

LT, that's on the quarterly sheets. The qtrly prices are essentially retail - just check them against the weekly.

    For example:

Nov 2003 Quarterly II common date 5 Lib W/M

    MS60 ------ $225
    Ms63 ------ $645

    Weekly from Nov 28

    MS60 ------ $160 bid / 170 Ask
    Ms63 ------ $560 bid / 600 AsK

So, gold was moving up and the Qtrly prices from early Nov were $45 to 85 HIGHER than the weekly from late Nov. Hope you don't use qtrly to buy. Now on the sell side....... image

    Rittenhouse,

Thank you for the information but I think that you might be mistaken...

Again, I might be too. Let me do some checking but as far as I know, the quarterly is highest wholesale prices for properly graded coins, just the same as the weekly...

Comparing Dec 12 weekly to Dec 12 quarterly 3.

    Greysheet weekly for 5 lib n/m in VF is 160, XF is 175, AU is 240, MS60 is 875, MS63 is 5040
Greysheet quarterly for the same VF is 160, XF is 175, AU is 240, MS60 is 875, MS63 is 5040

That was just one example. I looked at others and they match...

    John
