Looking for pricing help on an extremely rare / low pop classic silver commemorative : ) ....

I am pleased, honored and thrilled to report that we have just obtained an extremely rare / low pop classic silver commemorative. In fact, it is so unusual, that I am seeking help in determining a fair asking price for it.
It is a Maine, graded VG 8 by PCGS!
The PCGS pop report shows only 3 pieces graded, from VG and VF, so this could be the worst known or at least tied for it. However, as the pop report does not show grades below VG, I guess it's conceivable that there could be a lower graded specimen not showing up on the report? In any event, this is a special coin and an equally special occasion.
This amazing specimen is currently on hold for a registry set forum member, but, if he passes on it, it will be available for sale.
It doesn't get any better (or should I say worse?) than this.

Well......you could crack it out and resubmit it in hope of a lower grade, but as they say, if it could go down, it already would have!
Was there any question I'd pass?!

It did seem a little too nice as a VG-8. You gonna crack it out and carry it in your pocket for a while before you put it in your set?
Now I know how dealers work. Get a Fish On and Keep it On....

Ken, I know you're just joking around as I'm sure the "profit" margin on this Commemorative would barely buy Mark lunch, and that is only if he didn't SuperSize his fries and soda.
Enjoy the coin.

Geez.....Post number 5000 after 2 and 1/2 years.

Pat, sure there was a question - I wasn't convinced you'd be willing to pay a five figure price for it.

Ken, I did not have a want list on file. But, I bought it at a price where I knew I was safe, even if I couldn't bury a registry set nut, whoops, I mean place it at a reasonable price with a savvy collector.
<< <i>What a subtle/sneaky way to spam the registry board with a coin for sale >>
Don, I concur 100%. But, you will note, I didn't spam the forum with just any coin - it was one that we will make so much $ on, that it will be worth it, even if I'm ousted for being a spammer.

I'll trade you two raw AU58 Frankies for it!
